- Washing and Blocking: Finished knitted garment's stitches may appear uneven; however, washing and blocking will typically remedy this appearance.
- Natural Resistance to Felting or Shrinking: Although good results are obtained from washing in warm water, mohair can be subjected to hotter temperatures.
- General Care: Garments and/or yarn skeins may be washed utilizing a mild liquid soap with minimal agitation. Lay flat to dry or confine within a mesh laundry bag on garment rack in dryer on warm heat.
- Excessive Handling: Can result in separation of the twist and possible breakage.
